I had absolutely no idea Huey Lewis had Ménière's disease. It'd be inaccurate to say I listened to Huey Lewis and the News growing up—it'd be like saying I listened to the sound of milk hitting my Kix in the morning. He wasn't just listened to, he was part of the experience. Some memories are hard to imagine without his music in the background.

So glad he's getting support through his fans, though. Thanks as always for sharing!

My pleasure, James. I thought it was something good to share with others since I didn't know about it also until a couple years back. I was listening to one of his jams and I thought, hey, let me share a little about him. I agree with you, his music is part of the soundtrack of our lives. Thank you for reading as always!

Four Chords & Several Years Ago should not be overlooked. A fantastic cover album.

Totally agree!! I own that album. "Some Kind of Wonderful" is fantastic, and "But It's Alright" is a gem... "Blue Monday" and "Shake, Rattle, and Roll" are great as well. Such an underrated album for sure!

As a big fan of Huey and the band, this was such a bummer. We were just getting ready to go see them when this happened. Still a regular staple in my play list!

Great piece! Huey Lewis always had such a strong and distinctive voice. It's a shame about his hearing loss. "Power of Love" is my favorite of all the group's songs.
